With IKEA opening its stores in 2021 and the ever growing need to create/build due to COVID-19's impact on the Philippine economy, the DIY culture is drastically expanding in the Philippines. In addition to the points mentioned above, the 2 month long quarantine (plus the current 2 week MECQ in Metro Manila) has pushed power tool enthusiasts to work on long-overdue projects.
